This strength-based program is designed for children ages 5-11 with serious emotional and/or behavioral challenges who are at risk for out-of-home placement or hospitalization.

Each child within the program is involved in individual, group, family, and milieu therapies using some of our research-based treatment options. A strong parent/guardian commitment to the process is expected and participation in family therapy is required.

The Extended Day Treatment Program operates daily after school (M-Th 2:30-6pm, F 2:30-5:30pm) and during the summer (M-F 9am-1pm) to provide children with treatment for trauma and behaviors that are causing significant issues to improve coping skills, social skills, and community functioning.

In operation since 1994, this program is the only one of its kind in the state of Nebraska.
