Give to Lincoln May 1 – May 28 to Support HopeSpoke’s Mission

Your gift beginning today – Thursday, May 28th will help HopeSpoke at this critical time of the COVID-19 Virus to ensure that we have the necessary resources to adapt our programs to be able to serve all of those who need our services.  New this year for individuals 70 l/2 and older you may give a gift through your Charitable IRA. You can send one gift to the Lincoln Community Foundation to benefit your favorite nonprofits. To receive a copy of the form, please email jcardwell@hopespoke.org or contact the Lincoln Community Foundation.  The form needs to be received by the Lincoln Community Foundation by May 15, 2020!

HopeSpoke is grateful to everyone who has donated masks to keep our staff and clients as safe as possible during this time. We are also grateful for everyone who has made a financial gift to support HopeSpoke during this difficult time; especially with the Gourmet Comfort Classic cancelled for this year! We are thankful for this year’s agency sponsors and chefs/restaurants who were planning to participate in this year’s event.

HopeSpoke was thrilled to receive a COVID-19 Response Grant through the Lincoln Community Foundation’s special fund and we are grateful to all those individuals, foundations, and businesses who have made this possible. Lincoln is an amazing community of very generous individuals!

We have also been awarded $25,000 in COVID-19 Relief funding from the Medica Foundation. “It is amazing to receive such good news during this stressful time in support of HopeSpoke’s mission as we continue to adapt programs in new and different ways”, shared Katie McLeese Stephenson, Executive Director.
